Out With Friends.

So a hot December night in Melbourne.... Maybe it doesn't exist. This was a cold rainy night, Looking back on the City from Southbank and the Crown Complex.

Anyone else think Alice in Wonderland?
Anyway this is from my favourite cafe, Max Brenner, a cafe completely devoted to chocolate. This was a Spicy Gingerbread Chocolate Frappe - my favourite Christmas drink ever!

Out with friends for dumplings in China Town. They had tomato sauce just in case???

This is my friend Jess Sanders. Perth born and semi-bred. Only problem is she supports Collingwood. But, you know, can't have perfect friends!

Love Janey

I have a Boyfriend!

Ok, so maybe I lied. Just thought I would share one of my Christmas presents with you. I think its great. It sits on my mantelpiece and is a good conversation topic. My friend Kellie slaved over it. Looks pretty real huh?

Roadtriping

After convention Leah and I decided we should stay on in Adelaide for a while. Of course there was the post-convention party to attend, as well as the after-post-convention party, as well as the post-after-post convention party - we kept busy. Many thanks to Carli and Judd for letting us stay - its so exciting to be officially gaining a new cousin soon!

In my stupidity, no not stu[idity, maybe just clumsiness, on New Year, I sprained my ankle. My right ankle making it impossible to drive, impossible to walk without a limp and just making me impossible. So luckily Leah became my valet. While staying with the Barry's we got to celebrate little Ezra's 3rd birthday as well as get to cuddle baby Rex. So good to get to know the barry's a little better.

Leah, Carly and I before we said goodbye.

Lucky for me I had Leah to help me on the drive back to melbourne. We had a good time reliving convention, talking about boys, sharing some good and not so good music and having a laugh as we tried to set my camera onto timer. Taking this picture took a few goes and also earnt us some truckhonking and whistles!

This picture totally looks like we were on a farm in the middle of nowhere and not on the side of a major highway.

This sign tld me the fun was over and it was back to the real world. Unfortunately little did I know that the runny nose, cough and sore throat I had at this point would turn into a flu that would keep me on my back for the next week! Sorry about your boring Melbourne holiday Leah!

Til Next Time!

New Years Eve Party!

New Years Eve 2008 was a whole lot of fun! Still at convention we started getting our costumes ready for the party. The theme for the night was 'A and C' so we had to come dressed as something starting with 'A' or 'C' or 'A and C'.

So this is me and my friend James as he helps me with my Cleopatra costume. Yes I visited the Op Shop earlier that day bought a sheet and a few bits and pieces, but it came together!

Here is my date caesar and I.He was a bit young for me but he knew how to have some fun and act the part! Caesar and I made it into the costume finals. We didn't win, but oh we had a whole lot of fun! There were great outfits. Cows, Chickens, Ants, Army Officers, Air Force, Agents, Aerobics instructors, Carrots, Cabin Crew, Alphabets, Autobots, Cowgirls, Cowboys, Angels and Arabs.

This is me with my fellow Cows. Awesome! They got robbed when they only came second place in the costume contest. Notice the Udders and the hooves

Me and the chicken. He must have ben sweltering in that costume coz it was a warm night!

This was the New Year countdown and I was so happy to be spending it with my two favourite Perth Cows!
Oh what a night!
Love Ya
Jane!
